Rule book needs to change. Shouldn’t matter if arm is moving forward if defender makes contact with ball before it leaves the hand.
That should be the literal definition of a forced fumble

Well, that drive didn't take long.

Hold on, the ball landed behind the QB. So even if it was a “pass,” shouldn’t it have been a live ball?

K states offense is 2019 LSU at times. They've been fun to watch this year.

No, has to be thrown backwards

A bit of justice for KState

Does anyone know what the hell a fumble or possession is anymore? No consistency from week to week and year to year. Mond has a finger on the ball with knee down, that’s possession.
In Duggan situation, ball goes backwards with a full hand on the ball when it’s knocked out, and that’s not possession enough to be ruled a fumble?

You would think. I’m very confused by this actual rule now

I’m starting to think it’s going to be Ohio State and Michigan at 2/3. Please let this happen.

The argument would be it’s essentially a “tip” I guess.
Stupid but only justification I could see

Yep. Can't throw it if the defender literally knocked it loose.

I mean it wasn’t a throw at all, but if you’re saying it was a throw the only direction the ball went was backwards.
