In the Clippers’ locker room, Patrick Beverley was having some fun with some of the arena staff workers who help tidy up the facility. “Y’all a little different without KD, I see,” Beverley playfully jabbed. “Uh-huh, y’all cheated long enough. It’s OK. Y’all had a good run. Back to reality.”

No but I expect better trash talk than “Ha y’all were an all time great team for 4 years. Suck it!!”

This doesn't really make sense as a comparison. Saying someone cheated isn't really shite talking. It's more like being really butthurt because of how good they were.

Every gripe around the Warrios over the years seems to revolve around them "cheating" somehow when all they did was play the FA game right.

It's a simple minded argument for the message board warriors and seems funny coming from an actual NBA player.

They obviously didn't cheat in any way. But they were very very fortunate with how things played out. The Curry injuries early in his career and the fact they were able to sign him long term on the cheap, and then the one year salary cap spike in 2016 that allowed them to get KD.

They just had really really good timing.

At least he isn't dirty like Zaza, nor does he have a dirty assistant coach like Ron Adams encouraging dirty play.

They Cheated the spirit of competition. That’s what super teams do.

The Warriors didn't cheat by adding KD any more than the Clips cheated by adding Kawhi.

their job isn't to maintain your concept of the spirit of competition. Their job is to entertain through winning. Every complain against them is just whining losers. The NBA is business. Learn that.

a guy like Jordan, Kobe, Lillard, harden, etc these guys wants to beat the other teams too bad to want to team up with them. They are anti super team. Competitors in the purest sense. Your lebrons and KD aren’t wired the same way.

The only thing that really bothers me about the Warriors is the management waking up on third base and acting like they hit a triple. They act like what they did was repeatable - which is absurd.

Not even close. Clippers were an 8 seed. Warriors were 73-9 and had just come within a minute of winning their first legit title since 1975 (I discount 2015 due to injuries).
