We all know you're great at evaluating quarterback talent.

Manziel takes HUGE risks when he runs the ball. (Which is alot)...he's gonna get hurt one day doing that.

How about that left-handed pass he threw to Eric Reid while being blitzed by Minter?

AJ is like McElroy. He's a game manager with an average arm. Like someone said before. He has one of the best O-Lines in football so he literally faces no pressure. He's good don't get me wrong but he's a game manager not a game changer like Manziel. Even if Manziel could potentially bust in the NFL his ceiling is too high. AJ like most Bama players are already at their ceiling.

Why? McCarron will be selling insurance in 5 years. JFF will be a great NFL WR.

Manziel

eta: Neither are great NFL prospects at QB. Neither have the arm talent.

+1 He's remarkably smart with the ball but has no potential further than what we've seen

Just as an NFL player, McCarron would be way way better than Manziel.

he cant play well under pressure which is why he will never be a starter in the NFL

Manziel might not be a great NFL WR, who knows if he has the desire to play the position or if he'll will ever get in the right system but he has the potential.

For the people knocking AJ for playing behind a great offensive line, are you folks completely blind to the talent on A&M's line? The have two legitimate top 10 picks on the offensive line.

I like Manziel better as a pro prospect but I think McCarron will be a better pro passer than in college. I think he'll be a cross between Stafford and Harrington. Not a star, but he should have a decent career.

I actually think that AJ will be a very solid nfl qb in time .

Manziel needs to bulk up a little or he is going to get broken in half. He's very thin. Brees and Wilson are both short but they're pretty athletically built as well.

give manziel the RGIII treatment and he can atleast have an impact as a starter, or even greater

Absolutely not

I'm not sure why Manziel can't do the same things as Russell Wilson in the NFL. They're about the same size, too

Wilson has a better arm, but it's a fair comparison.
