DWADE 22pts 5bds 5asts 2stls 1blk 52% 34mins

Pippen 21 8bds 7asts 2stls 1blk 50% 38 mins

Colin Cowherd was comparing this years Heat to the Bulls when they won their second championship.

Now he said Wade is the better. I agree, Wade overall is better than Pippen. However, during the repeat year for the Bulls...

I think Pippen was better than today's Wade when he was 26.

I think Pippen is more valuable to have on the court. The more complete player.

26 year old Pippen was better than Wade, at any age...

Best defensive SF of all time.

It's a lot closer than people think. Wade is a great player, and one of the best defensive SG of all time, when he's focused. He's easily the best shot blocking SG of all time. 26 year old Pippen is probably better than 31 year old Wade though, but not by as much as many think.

Wade is just now getting healthy after that knee surgery. He can dunk from a standing position now, which he couldn't do last season/beginning of this season. I think people will be surprised at how well he plays during the playoffs this season.

You could make the argument he's the greatest defender of all-time regardless of position given his versatility.

Eh, Wade and Lebron's helpside and chasedown blocks look badass, but they're nowhere near the on-ball defenders that Pippen and Jordan were.

Wade carried a team to a title. Pippen never could by himself and he had some chances

Gimme wade. He could take over a game. Still can

Wade is a pretty stong on ball defender, and about a pretty decent amount of his blocks come while on-ball defending.

It's also a completely different era defensively. So it's hard to compare their on-ball defense since perimeter defense today is all about quickness or super length, which obviously Pippen had anyway. We don't know what type of defenders Wade or LeBron could have been in that era.

He basically got screwed out of his chance. They were arguably better than the Knicks and they would've beaten the Pacers. Someone needs to post Pippen's 1993-94 stat line.

At Pippen's and Wade's peaks, it really is a coin flip.

He was legitimately old at that time though.

Im talking prime years in his 20s.

Ironically, im listening to SVP right now and Doc Rivers just said Bradley's the best on ball defender he can remember, since Pippen
