Ditto with Pippen and Jordan...

Pippen was a monster.

Walking triple double and could dominate defensively at 4 positions.

He was 32 when he left the bulls

There are many superstars who lead teams to championships past that age.

Was he just old or just simply not the same player without MJ?

1993-94 Pippen, who almost led the Bulls to the Finals, got 21 pts on 49% fg/8 rebs/5 asts, and played elite defense. It's not absurd.

I don't see how Jordan ruins his legacy considering he never did anything with out MJ

I always hate these Pippen discussions because I loved him as a player. Just severely overrated. He's not Dwade

Again, he got 1 season in his prime without Jordan and was amazing.

Literally led the bulls in every statistical category and was 3rd in the MVP voting

I've seen Wade's numbers. He had a higher PER and all that. But you can't ignore what Pippen did in '94, with that roster, while playing some of the best defense ever.

Apparently players older than 32 are irrelevant. frick shaq. Did you watch the playoffs that year? One of the best runs by a player in my young lifetime.

Wade was the best player on his team but Shaq was still very much an all-star and only a year or two removed from what should have been an MVP year his first season in Miami. After Shaq got old/left wade never led his team past the first round until lebron. There's numerous stories from the dream team selection/practices about pippen being the second best perimeter player on the team after Jordan, as well as being one of the four locks USA basketball had when they began forming the team

The wings on the dream team were relatively weak.

And the heat were talentless once shaq left. Bottom of the barrel bad

What does that have to do with anything, though?

I said Pippen in his prime was better than Wade. Is anybody arguing that 33 was Pippen's prime?

Pippen was a shell of himself after the back surgery. He was not the same.

Pippen had a crap ton of injury issues towards the end of his career. And he did help lead the blazers to game 7 of the WCF, which they lost to the lakers in one of the more dubiously officiated games of all time

Gimme wade. He could take over a game. Still can

Yeah, Wade has that ability to go into "God Mode" sometimes where he is just unstoppable. When the Heat won that first title against the Mavs it seemed like he was like that for the last 4 games of that series. Pippen never had that in him. And that was why Jordan was obviously the better player. Wade is like a Jordan lite and Pippen is like a Lebron lite.

The point is he never could do anything without Jordan.

You used his age as an excuse and it's a poor one. It's not that hard to follow, is it?

33 is not that old by NBA standards.
