2020 Alabama is really hard for me to gauge just because of the way that season went. I could see them anywhere from 2 to 9.
Michigan is the only team that really stands out on that list as definitely number 10.
So undefeated Michigan, who beat Ohio State, then Saban's Alabama in the Rose Bowl and then bullied Washington in the title game (in addition to winning at Penn State) is definitely number 10?
But you see no problem with two-loss Ohio State who lost to 7-5 Michigan higher in the rankings?
Give me a break.

Except they boat raced everyone, having the best stretch of wins in history
They beat the 9-1-5-7.
Michigan 2-16-4-2
2019 lsu 4-4-3
2025 Indiana 2-9-5-10
I wouldn't say their path was any more difficult then the others especially as they won title games

The only glaring mistake on that list is 2018 Clemson.
Couldn’t agree more. 2018 Clemson is underrated not just on this list but in general.
Future #1 pick at QB (who could run and throw) combined with a RB in Travis Etienne who averaged more YPC in 2018 than anyone on everyone’s beloved 1995 Nebraska. And both were good enough to be consistent NFL starters.
Higgins, Ross, and Renfrow at WR.
A good offensive line.
Three first round draft picks in the DL to go along with good linebackers and a great secondary with guys like A.J. Terrell.
Brent Venables and Tony Elliot were well regarded coordinators.
They had no personnel weaknesses. NFL guys everywhere. And once Sunshine got his feet wet, they rolled through everyone and embarrassed a great Saban team.

Yes, you nailed it about their personnel.
Also, Clemson had a 30+ average point differential that season too. It's not like they had a bunch of scares in the regular season and just clocked Alabama out of no where.

2018 Clemson needs to be higher. No one beat a Saban Bama team that bad. 44-16.
