He was voted to 50 greatest players. Which itself was sort of a reach. He was very good but not a top 20 player of all time. What a joke.

Rodman good rebounder and defender. But had "legit inside game"? No

Luc longley sucked. What planet are you from?

Did you read the accomplishments of pippen he is deserving of his rating in the top 50, but I guess Lester earl is better at picking the greatest players of all time. Much better than the NBA.

Not even close. The Bulls were a team, who could smother you on D, and then blow you away on O. The Heat can be hot, and then can end up being cold as hell. Lebron is still a kid, when things don't go his way he wilts and throws tantrums, Wade is a much better team mate, but he can't do it alone, Bosh is great, but he isn't on either of those two's level. The rest of the team can simply stay home.

The Bulls were a great team, they were solid top to bottom. However, the greatest part of that team was obviously Michael. He would not let the team lose. His will was so strong, he would never back down. Could you imagine Lebron ever doing anything close to what Jordan did while sick as hell with the flu? Not in this life time. The Bulls would have crushed the Heat in a seven game series. I'd say, 4 to 2 easily.

Pippen is definitely top 20 at his position which is really all that matters.

I'd also argue that Rodman's inside game is better than you are giving him credit for. He didn't score a ton, but he didn't get scored on much either and always out rebounded the opposing team. Not to mention he could get in people's heads like no other.

Ron Harper good at that point in his career?

He was. The year before he joined Chicage he averaged 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2 steals. He just went from being one of the best players on a bad Clippers team to being the 5th option on the Bulls.

Top 20 at his position is different from him saying he is a top 20 player of all time. I have mad respect for Pippen, but he was never that good.

Well, when i hear inside game i think offense. Rodman was a great team player and did all the dirty work. Never a guy that could carry a team though.

bloated by playing a ton of minutes on a bad team. He was never an efficient player. Generally a compiler who really couldn't shoot. good leader, decent defender.

At least he had a point. Bibby was good on a Sacramento team that had quite a bit of talent. He was above average to average on Atlanta. He was never at Harpers level at any point in his career. Chalmers, well he has been average, but then again he was never thought of as a high rated player/prospect and he has been about average playing on a team of superstars. Harper and Bibby are similar in the sense that they were never superstars, but I would go as far to say that Bibby was a poor mans Harper. Bibby only averaged one season over 20 points. Harper had 5. Yes Harper was old by the time 96 rolled around, but he didn't have to score with the team that the Bulls had. Bibby is still needed to score and that was proven in the playoffs, because the Heat never had the defense that the Bulls had. And when you don't have the defense, you need to score more which the Heat didn't do efficiently.

If it hasn't already been stated 72-10 is a feat we probably will never see duplicated in the NBA

Your whole point was that he wasn't good because of his age. That simply isn't true. He was a good player during the Bulls' 2nd three-peat.

The Bulls would win, so them.

But on paper, it's pretty close.

Hey guy. With exception of the Lebron worshiping that I'll have to deal with from you and Tulane, I am stoked that the NBA is about to get rolling.

Edit: Also, well done on the L.A. thread. Nice to see that you're already in midseason form in your Kobe-bashing.

It's not LeBron worshiping. It's just recognizing who the best player in basketball is.

I'm a changed man, my friend. I acknowledge Lebron is the most talented player. However, still think Lechoke is a fitting nickname given last year's finals.

8 most talented:
1. Lebron
2. Dwade
3. Howard
4. Melo
5. CP3
6. Dirk
7. KD
8. Kobe
