...GOT to be QB Denard Robinson at Michigan... Holy-Moly !! Did you guys see that Michigan-Notre Dame game ? 502 yards total offense from ONE GUY! after nearly 400 yds the previous week ? WOW! And he can punt , deftly dropping a quick kick punt inside the 10 yd line against the Irish. Best player in college I've seen in years , including Vick when he was rolling, and Robinson CAN pass very well ... a lot of games left , and he WILL be a marked man from here on out - but so far this year after 2 games .. wow ,, just wow .... Rich Rodriguez may have saved his job when he found this dude ...

no

And the funny thing is, everyone bashes the golden domers, but when Michigan runs all over them they are suppose to be some world beaters all of a sudden.

Denard Robinson will put up monster numbers until teams learn to keep him in the pocket. He's only the "best player in college football" if you think Pat White and Seneca Wallace were the best players in college football. Dude is killing it no doubt, but teams will learn to make him beat them with his arm.

He basically raped Chad Henne all throughout the 2007 UM game. So yeah.

False. Rich Rod finally has a QB at Michigan to run his system. It's not pure luck that Denard Robinson is at Michigan. He's the style of QB needed for that offense. This is the textbook example of "The coach needs time to get his style of players in the program to fit his system."

It's not like Denard Robinson just showed up and saved Rich Rodriguez. Other coaches, like Les Miles, would probably move him to wide receiver.

its not like he is scrambling on broken pass plays.

most of his yards come on designed runs. Rich Rod has been running this offense for a while. It's not like they are surprising people.

The eye ball test, id go with Luck or Pryor oh do I wish LSU had either of those guys.

Shoelace has been impressive, but I will reserve judgment for a couple more weeks to see if he can keep it up against some better competition.

um, er, ya---as i was saying. rich rod needs denard to be successful. without him, this is another 6-6 michigan team----just as without pat white, wvu is a .500 team which manages to lose to a 5-7 pitt squad in 2007 while scoring only seven offensive points in the process----

and with that said, the point still stands without denard rich rod might be unemployed mid-season----undoubtedly, they lose to notre dame. no question. he accounted for 90% of their entire offense----

saban is still going to win without his heisman candidate----michigan would not.

Marcus Lattimore has been pretty impressive. He's run the ball 51 times for 236 yards and 4 TDs.

Okay, put Denard Robinson as QB in Mike Leach's offense and he is terrible. Put Denard Robinson as QB in Lloyd Carr's offense and he is terrible. It's a two way street. Rich Rod needs a running QB, an Robinson needs an offense that plays to his strengths.
