Also Ed Reed > Ray Lewis IMO

+ Reed didn't murder anyone, so he has that going for him too.

It’s Upshaw. But Art Shell and Willie Brown are in the conversation.

Pretty sure he wasn’t including Oilers history in this. If he was then it’s clear cut Bruce Matthews.

It’s Tony Boselli. And he should be in the hall of fame. But I loved Freddy T, Mark Brunell, and Jimmy Smith.. if Jimmy wasn’t a cocaine addict, he probably would’ve been the best Jags player of all time.

OP can't spell Morten Andersen correctly.

Whether he is counting Oilers history or not, you are correct about Bruce. He was on the Titan's Super Bowl team.

No disrespect to Lott, but there is no tie here. Easily Jerry.

You could make a case for Jimmy Johnson, most overlooked great cornerback in history

I loved watching Ronnie Lott play as well, but I agree with you, and here's how I view Rice as the clear cut best 49er.

Is there an argument that Ronnie Lott is not the best Safety/Defensive Back in NFL history? Sure. You could argue Ed Reed, Mel Blount and MAYBE even Rod Woodson.

Is there an argument that Joe Montana is not the best QB in NFL history? Sure. You could argue Brady, Unitas or Peyton Manning.

Is there an argument that Jerry Rice is not the best Wide Receiver in NFL history. No.
