Id be willing to bet that teams record extends back to last sept or October.. Still a lot of games but a little perspective.. Also with that type record.. They go deep in most tourneys playing 5 -7 games on a Sat/Sun.. I would hope that with his injury troubles he has 13-15 sized team with lots of arms he can rotate if they are playing that any games in one weekend consistently.

Playing that many games they better make sure every kid on the team can log some innings pitching. That's the only way to keep those innings manageable.

Their travel ball teams starts in April I believe. They play 1 or 2 games during the week and then 3-4 on the weekend.

Not sure how accurate that is, just what I was told by a coach who coaches a travel ball team here.

Sheets recruits kids from all over. His team should really play more 13AAA or 13 major teams but he likes to just play teams he has more talent than. Been doing it for years.

They're still developing

Which is exactly why you shouldn't play 70 games a year as a 12 year old.

Just cause your shitty league plays 20 games at 12 years old doesn't mean that's the best amount to play.

It's cool that your parents shoved their failed dreams down your throat.

Well thankfully kids and coaches love travel ball and love helping kids get to play college ball.

You're obviously bitter or don't know shite. Which is it????

Saw them play this year. I understand they are a sterlington based team. Have kids from all over the state. They are a solid team, although that age group is watered down. Once they go to a World Series, they will be tested playing Cali, Florida , and Atlanta metro teams.

I went ahead and looked it up.. They started playing in the fall when the season kicks off so they've played 70 games in 8 months

Where do these kids come from?

Kids from all over the state and some from outside. If you've got the money and name you can do this too and get paid $$$$. Parents today are delusional, they think b/c they place for Sheets Baseball their kid will be 'going pro'. They will drive their kid 2+ hours one way twice a week to practice just to be on a team like this.

I feel like people who hate on travel ball feel like these teams are like Cobra Kai and would rather their kid be coached the proper way, like Mr. Miyagi does.

A Major team at 65-6, assuming they also play other majors and AAA with less AA teams? That record is off the charts

They've won 13 of 18 tourneys overall.
7 of 11 12U Major tourneys.
Impressive to say the least.

I don't have a kid at this age yet, but I already told the wife that I will limit his playing if he does decide to play baseball. Check out Dr. James Andrews comments on adolescent sports. He's seen alot of increased injuries in the youngsters

Not really. A lot of these teams have 20+ guys and rotate the whole team out every other weekend or so.

He's not doing the farm system like Banditos.

That's excessive and if true, surprising Sheets is behind it.
