Its a parody of ESPN Hot Take shows Pardon (the Interruption) My (First) Take.
They take almost nothing seriously and just have fun, mostly making fun of sports talk media. Sometimes its retarded, sometimes its pretty brilliant.
Its a fun show. Maybe lighten up a bit.

The thing I don't like is they get really good guests, which usually revolve around a current event going on. And the interviews consist of 99% attempts at hitting home run jokes. Whatever happened to having some comedic timing?

They've gotten significantly better with interviews over time, imo.

They certainly do this, but they usually have a nice balance of real questions that aren't just the sports car wash questioms. And they ask the ridiculous questions, which is why it's so much more fun to listen to their interviews

They get those guests because of their personalities and the difference of the way they do the interviews. And they are friends with most of these guys. I can listen to an athlete give a bullshite interview anywhere.

It's not high brow but it is very inside joke integrated. They have a bunch of bits and segments that don't really make sense at face value, unless you know the joke

They actually remind me of Russillo. Obviously not similar shows, but I'm totally indifferent to both shows. Don't like em, don't hate em,don't understand how some swear by them.
All I do know is that for those that do like PMT, they will reign down on you like you murdered their children if you don't agree that they're the best thing ever!!!!

I don't have any issues with what they do, I just can't seem to find much of what they do funny or entertaining or just a must listen.
