Bar near me is offering a bracket challenge free beer for every pick you make.

This is a great deal in my opinion. Places don’t do this stuff these days.
My question now this (as long as we take care of the bar staff) why not go with a buddy and each pick the opposite first round match ups. That would be like 34 wins correct 32 and two play ins. Thoughts?

Do the picks have to be correct?
I’m assuming you have to wait for the game to end to get your free beer.
Are you not drinking until games end then get a bunch of free beers? Can you show up with 5 seconds left and pick winners?

yes, i have thoughts. im not sure i understand the situation correctly, but ill try.
you should double up on probably all 1-5 seeds at a minimum. probably double up on 2 of the 6 seed games but split the clemson/new mexico and south carolina/oregon game.
there's a chance you should just double up on the favorites in every game, but splitting your picks on the 7/10 and 8/9 games makes enough sense to just lock in 4 winners.

I assume you have to get the pick correct to win?
If so, take all the favorites then bet the cost of a beer on ML dogs. You lock in a free drink for every game and the more dogs that win, the more cash you’ll clear even after paying.
You’re likely going to spend a boatload more if you sit there drinking for 12 hours though.
