Is a latino guy speaking spanish woke?

No, choosing an artist that’s only going to perform in Spanish is and that’s on the NFL and not him.

Bad Bunny is widely considered the "biggest artist" in the world, primarily due to his record-breaking streaming numbers on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, his consistent top status on global charts, and the widespread impact of his music. He has achieved this status by blending Latin music genres with trap, house, and other styles, and by making his music predominantly in Spanish, which broke linguistic barriers in the global music industry

NFL has been trying to expand outside the US for a long time now including latin America. This makes a whole lot of sense if you want to grow the sport there

Should be a great singer for your American English speaking fans. You know, your core audience.

Ok I now see it isn’t jelly rolls wife, that is bunnie xo

I have no clue of any of this dudes songs. But I’m a white almost 40 year old so the nfl doesn’t care about me here. But it does seem kinda strange to at least not have someone that sings in English

Soapbox moment here:

Latin America soccer would never try and please others during their big event

European soccer would never try and please others during her big event

They would play to THEIR CORE FANBASE. Always. Why has it become uniquely American in sports to always seem to do everything for someone other than your main diehard fans?

Courting the core audience is dumb because they're gonna watch the game either way.

Im pumped about Bad Bunny.

His fore into WWE was pretty cool. The entrance when he came out to Chambea was pretty freaking awesome. The pop was insane. I saw a video about how he approached Triple H telling him he wanted to have a storyline and WWE and H was just like okay dude but Bunny basically moved to Orlando to train and learn at their performance center.

And he was great in Happy Gilmore. He’s a talented dude.

And you think that’s a good example? She apparently has had a number 1 hit on the GLOBAL TOP 100

Seems pretty much like that is your target audience in a global event like WORLD cup
