It's still funny how the ACC rigged their divisions so that Miami and FSU would play in the championship game every year and make a ton of money out of it.

To this date, they haven even met once and their game is a joke, and you can't even give tickets away.

Moral: don't rig your conferences to get a predictable outcome. You may not like what you get.

Good...as it should be. I enjoyed NEB in our division, though

It would keep the rivalries in tact. auburn vs uga, auburn vs bama, and the supposed bama vs. tenn. not having a guaranteed bama vs lsu game every year is a bit of a downer but the move makes sense

West is laughably bad. Stick LSU or Alabama in there and they'd go undefeated every year for the foreseeable future.

Think about what would have happened if they both went in to the last game having clenched their respective divisions. Talk about making a game almost absolutely meaningless.

You don't know this rivalry very well. Both teams would play HARDER knowing they would be accused by history of not giving a shite about the outcome.

4 times in the last 11 years, Ohio State has had a perfect season and/or spot in the championship on the line in this game.

But again, don't mess with history for a money grab. The ACC destroyed what was becoming the greatest rivalry in college football (or at least a game with direct impact on the BCS) to put Miami and FSU in separate divisions. I realize Miami's decline hurt the rivalry after the fact, but still.

You have to at least keep Michigan and OSU in separate divisions

Then you have the possibility of them playing two weeks in a row which would suck.

As I looked at these divisions, I got a different moral.

Moral: quit adding shitty brands to an already boring conference

While it would make perfect sense, Bama wouldnt go for it because of that one aspect of actually making sense. Putting Mizzou in the east was one the dumbest thing the SEC has done in a long time.

So moral of the story: Bama runs that bitch.

I didn't really care what they did, provided that they put Ohio State and Michigan in the same division. It was really inevitable without having permanent cross division opponents, anyways.

I anticipate there will be some years where Michigan and OSU are both good and put so much effort into their game they go onto the championship game and get waxed by the west team.

Nebraska/Wisky got frickin easy mode going on tho for sure.

Because you get the DC market, and they're an AAU school.

Oh, and I must add that I love how everyone's chiming in on how awful this is, yet when Leaders/Legends was put in place, everyone was asking why we didn't just go East/West

Jesus talking about overloading a division.

yeah, maybe they should have done north/south instead... you probably want Michigan/OSU and Michigan/MSU in teh same division but that makes things messy to balance the divisions
