What's funny? Should we look at the stats? Or how Russell was 11-2 in 2006 and Flynn was 9-2 in '07?

I think Flynn could be a good NFL QB. Arm strength isn't great, but maybe Al has learned that isn't always the answer.

JR doesn't give them a chance to win at all, give it up

Good point, because LSU would have potentially lost to Middle Tennessee and Tennessee that year with him healthy for those games.

He will be when he gets a chance. I think he's said he's going to stay in GB until his contract is up and then move on

Nevertheless, he was 9-2 in 2007.

Kiffin looks a whole lot better in saying he didn't want Russell now compared to the end of last year

I'll give you 10-2, but the Tennessee game was anything but a sure win

Are there anymore who still think Russell was not part of the problem?

I think just about every poster that's defended him at some point has come to the realization that he was part of the problem - and posted as much.

That said, in light of VY's turnaround, I'm hoping he gets his act together and can salvage the remainder of his career.

Well considering our offense only scored 14 points that game, I would think that Flynn, whose lowest output in regulation as a starter was 27 points, would have done ok.

It can't be much longer until JR is living in a trailer park in Mobile and making child support payments for 6 different kids.

He'll have 3 times as many kids as he has touchdown passes this season.

I wonder how much $ he has saved. You know he's not going to want to play in the CFL. Maybe the Lafayette Wildcatters of the Southern Indoor League?

I dont think anybodys saying Gradkowski is the answer. But thats the point. It jus goes to show u how bad JRussel is.

They're rumors the Raiders may cut bait with him. They can cut him in the off-season without a major cap hit.

Russell is a bust. He's lazy and doesn't give a shite.

But he was still better at LSU than Matt Flynn.

Since we are going to do this, anybody who thinks he wasn't needs to be permanently restricted to only posting on the rant.
