It's in Town and Country Mall just south of I-10. Huge amount of competition in upscale restaurants, and it will only be open for dinner?

Back before the toll road and multiple iterations of T&C, there was an excellent BBQ restaurant about a block away. It's gone now, of course, but I expect the other restaurants in the area are amused at their entry.

And this whole story screams butthurt Rocketards. How can I support Ayesha Curry's restaurant to spite the Rocketards?

And if I had to take a wild guess.
I would bet the majority of the trash posting 1 stars Yelp reviews, couldn't afford to eat at the restaurant without putting it on a credit card anyhow...

upscale bbq joint

Why should a bbq place be upscale? The best bbq places in this country are the complete opposite of upscale.

this is how I feel about some of the upscale Mexican joints in Nashville. They aren't half as good as the La Hacienda on Nolensville Pike (Hispanic area).

to justify ripping rich white people off selling baked ribs at $55 a half rack and a side of baked beans for $12. duh.

Houston is massive, the Rockets fanbase? Not so much. If the food and atmosphere is good, a couple salty Rocket fans won't be an issue.
