This is not really true anymore. Traffic is terrible in every direction on every interstate.

I lived in Atlanta for 14 years, dumbass.
I love the place, have many friends there, and will be buying a house in N. GA in the next couple of years.
But the fact that you make a random thread calling out Saints fans (with pics of a Braves game, no less), outside of football season when you know it's mostly just rival fan bases giving each other shite...is pretty lame.

It’s absolutely true. I’ve been here since 2005. If you are going up 75, 85, or 400 it’s wide open in the mornings while southbound lanes are going 15 mph. I do it 3 days a week. Afternoon commute can be a little more difficult but it’s a piece of cake compared to people leaving the city in afternoons.

I left NO bc I was tired of dealing with that shite every day. Then Milwaukee was getting more and more like that during my 8 years there. Happy to be out West now and only future move might be to Idaho or Montana instead of my current deep blue state

Then you should know that city of Atlanta is headed in the opposite direction of both Birmingham and New Orleans in that respect. Been a massive demographic shift here the last 20 years.
