Well Detroit got a defensive PI on a ball that was 6 yards out of bounds, so I'd say it evened out.

Does not matter. He was touched while on the way to the ground so it counts as down by contact when his knee hit the ground. At that point he was short of the line to gain so no TD

I guess if you consider the value of every play being equal and not giving any value to the last play of the game especially when it results in a 10 second runoff to end the game

If not TD then it was Pass interference. DB was holding his shoulder with ball in air. Should have been first down again with 9 seconds left.
