Unless Wright is hurt or just completely cooked, there was no reason to not give him another inning. He was only at 77 pitches.

Stupid decision. Sometimes Snit seems to think it is against the rules to let a starter pitch past the 6th.

Not to be that guy, but I miss when pitching past 100 pitches was just something a starter was expected to do. They baby these guys too much.

I agree. I hate that Alcantara pitches for Miami because he is so fun to watch and this is a huge reason why.

Wright's max innings in his career is 138. He is already at 134 innings on the year. I'm sure it was just preservation. Let's get some runs and forget about it. They move not to yank Lee is one that I'm questioning more rn.
