Not really.

He definitely had some moments, but more times than not, he was part of that big blackhole that we still have in the lineup.

Well that sucks.

I thought that was a no-doubter off the bat.

So I guess cordiality is gone.

Sorry that I believed Drury was a clear upgrade over Arcia.

My bad, won't happen again.

Drury is a clear upgrade over Arcia, and can also play in the OF. I agree that it was a big miss not picking him up. He would have provided depth at multiple positions, and is a better RH bat than Grossman.

Man, the 2022 ATL threads have been chock full of whiny bitches looking for a fight this year. Jesus.

If you say so, Bro. I think you're being a little overdramatic about it and choosing to overlook the obvious which was, with Arcia there wasn't a need to trade a bare farm for a rental when Oz is likely coming back in a month.

I've said this many of times already, but I'll say it again.

The Padres gave up a AAAA SS prospect for Drury. We had that in Shewmake that we could've easily parted ways with.

It's getting very old how so many people get worked up just because people have the audacity to be like "hey, we may have missed out on that."

It's like they think they are a better fan because they don't question the moves.

I know full well that my opinions don't matter and that there is a lot more that goes into the decisions. But I'm just speaking from what I see at the games and on TV. It was so cool winning the World Series last year, and I want to do it again.

I just don't feel like we did enough at the deadline to do it. Shoot me.

And if Dansby gets hurt or doesn't re-sign then what?

Man Ozuna is so fricking bad. Just trade him to the Orioles with an AA level prospect for cash considerations.

What do you mean then what? We sign someone else or cut our teeth with Grissom at short.

You realize Grissom is a higher SS prospect than Shewmake right?

Question:

When they left for this road trip last week, there was not an inkling that Grissom would be called up.

How do they have a personalized jersey for him within hours of his call up?

frick this Grissom talk. I’d rather melt and write a 3 paragraph essay bitching about folks disagreeing with me. No time for discussion on the actual game in this thread
