The Mets just aren’t a good team, it’s hilarious how much they have spent to construct this roster.
Like the Phillies I can see it the talent is there especially with the offense but the Mets got nothing

Slowly but surely we are hopefully seeing all parts SP, RP, and hitting start to click at the same time.
Ozuna,Albies and Riley are all picking it up along with Minter out of the BP.
SP is obviously a concern with the injuries.

I'm not concerned about starting pitching at all.

Don’t look now, and I certainly don’t want to jinx it, but the Braves currently have the best record in the NL and fourth best in MLB.

Mets will be lucky to get a Wild Card spot. This Division belongs to the Atl Braves, and will be owned by the Braves for years to come.
I'm not sure how the Mets have any fans at all.

For you Truist Park regulars, how early would one need to get in line to get a bobblehead tonight? It’s the first 15,000. I have all day to waste but don’t want to stand in line for 2 hours like you had to do for the Outkast bobbles.

I haven't been to a bobblehead night since 2021. I don't remember making any special effort and I got one. I feel like I walked in maybe 30 minutes before first pitch. But it was only a Brian McCann bobblehead and not a big game.
Feels like the bobblehead thing has become kind of ridiculous lately and this is Riley and the Mets so I'm not sure 30 minutes will cut it.

Was planning on getting inside the park when gates open at 5:30. Just didn’t know if there would be crazy lines waiting to get in.

Just more proof that you can spend all the money you want, but if you build poorly, the money doesn't matter.

Same
Braves are top-5 in starters' ERA IIRC.

Man I would hope you would get one easily if you are in line when the gates open. If you can't get a bobblehead by being there almost 2 hours early, then I will never get another bobblehead again. I'm just not hanging out in line/in the ballpark for 2 hours before the game for a basically a cheap souvenir.

I am. Strider, Elder, and Morton have been great so the SP has looked great.
But it just feels like a kind of a high wire act right now where we need those 3 guys to pound out quality start after quality start with little room for error b/c we are playing spin the wheel the other two spots in the rotation every time through. Also Morton is old and this is Elder's first time doing this (and kind of Strider too in terms of a whole season) so I just don't have 100% confidence that we can ride those 3 like this for the whole year. I'll feel much better when Max comes back. Haven't heard anything on Wright in ages and I'm worried about getting him back at all this season.

And what's the point of anchoring the daily Braves thread before the next day's thread is started? Weird extreme micromanagement of a sports forum is weird.
