I’m not seeing where the Derosa love is coming from.

Glad the boo birds started chirping after that second run.
Glad the tv picked it up.. could barely hear it in the stadium since most people had already left.
I’m always negative nimrod, but it’s just sad.
Bottom 3 team in the NL when 3rd highest odds to win the WS.
Snit is gone in the head. Completely gone. If any of you suffered through the post game intv on 680 on the ride home it was sad. He’s sunsetting quickly.
Every batter is behind in their swing and seems completely lost over and over and over again. No chemistry, no leadership. I truly feel for our 3 remaining talented starting pitchers. They have no shot. Sale used immaculate word salad post-game to say that.
Atl back bby!
Open bar and food in the Jim Beam section tonight so that was dope

The Braves decline started when Wash went to LA.
Would give anything to have him back as manager.

I would listen to offers on anyone other than Acuna, Baldwin, Sale, and Schwellenbach.
I would add Riley and maybe Harris to that list. Torn on Harris because his hitting has not been great but his defense is worth keeping.

Got to sell high on Sale. He's a ticking time bomb.
They won't be cause it would be waiving the white flag but they should.
Harris makes Frenchy look like Joey Votto. Insanely bad plate discipline.

Sure wish Mike would’ve taken a couple more pitches. Brutal season.
I 'member when people were saying they wouldn't take Julio Rodriguez straight up for Mike

Yes he has fallen off a bit, but it seems like we hit on so many prospects within a relatively short period that we kind of started overrating some of them a bit.

How is he a ticking time bomb? Most of his injury stuff in the past has been really weird and flukish. He has never been bad when he's healthy.
I'd keep Sale and try to extend him. I want him here for the rest of his career, and I want he and Schwellenbach to anchor this rotation for the next 3 years.
AA should focus on going all in for the 2026-2028 seasons while Acuna is under contract. I don't want a rebuild; I'd rather retool a little bit with Acuna and Baldwin as the centerpieces of the offense.
I think a new coaching staff with some fresh voices would help a lot. The next hire needs to be someone not from the Bobby Cox coaching tree. This laid back, zero urgency bullshite flat out does not work. IMO, it is a major reason why the Braves have lost their first playoff game every year since 2001 except for the weird 2020 season with no crowds.

Snit needs to go but I'm not sure what we can do about guys just not being competitive at the plate. Especially since its not like we expected many of them to be low strikeout guys... we knew when we extended them that they were streaky hitters (or just too young to have proven anything yet).

I think as long as Terry McGuirk is in charge this won’t happen.

He's old and even if he stays healthy probably won't maintain this level of pitching. Already has periods of low velocity where he gets shelled.
He is the perfect trade piece at the deadline too. Could be a difference maker for one of these teams. Thus we could get some immediate impact prospects or even MLB level players.

He falls into the Arcia category. Worth keeping around as a 9 hole hitter for his defense if everyone else is hitting. But as we see, that's not the case. Hard to want to keep a guy for defense when we can't score runs and he's swinging at anything within a 2 mile radius.

I love that Snit's family down votes me every time I say he should be fired
I won't downvote but I don't see anybody wanting to fire the Greek. He is the POS that has caused all of this.
and I see we are so much better offensively since we fired Kevin Seitzer....bullshite
