Where was the thread with all the outrage? Just curious, I haven't really looked at the MSB much in the past couple days.

I have to say, I was genuinely pissed at first but then I realized these fellas where going to lose their job, and they should have too. Just a bunch of hacks who hated their jobs obviously mouthing off about a man who is dying an agonizing death.
that is some bad shite, man. I was just embarrassed for Steve Gleason and his family most of all.

790 has been losing the ratings war for a while, so I would not doubt that this played a role in the decision to fire them.

What bothers me more than the original comments though are the people saying that their firing is a sign of "PC police" or some other bullshite.
This isn't about "PC". This is about having standards and holding people to those standards. I'd like to think that we live in a civilized society where we shouldn't have to explain this to people...

Of all the tasteless things I read on the Internet, hear on TV and the Radio I'm glad finally we now know how far you have to go for everyone to agree it's tasteless. I'm not sure if this example speaks highly of the human race. I mean, you have to insult someone dying before it qualifies for tasteless?

yeah, though they were all I listened to. I listened to Mayhem, Barnhart and Durham (when they were on), and I can deal with Mike Bell in the evening. overall felt like talent there had been leaving/ tailing off though. I was somewhat surprised that they got the Falcons and became the ESPN Radio affiliate.
never got into 680. can't stand Buck Belue or Chuck's voices.
