Wow...WTF were those guys thinking?
I've listened to them and never heard them say or act anything close to that before. I guess they thought they were making the show "edgier." Bad decision on their part.
You can sense that Steak Shapiro is not really comfortable when at the beginning he says in response to Cellini..."I don't know if I want to play along." After each Cellini caricature, Shapiro hesitates a long time before responding. He should have followed his gut instinct and shut it down.

I just posted something similar on the Saints board. This isn't some small town, it's a station in a major city. Somebody is probably pay good money as a producer or content manager. What kind of person in that position doesn't say "Ok a bit making fun of a man dying from ALS. Is this a good idea?"

Yeah, I really can't imagine the Falcons flagship and ESPN affiliated AM station that would not have a production meeting before going on the air to vet the bits that they are going to put on the air, especially given the FCC oversight of terrestrial radio these days.

Agree. These guys are really good and are very highly rated. They do a ton of charity work in Atlanta. Heck Shapiri went to Tulane. They just made a terribly bad judgement call. If you listen to the audio, steak and chris were hesitant. Bad move on there part. You just can't go there.
