Seems that we’re seeing more and more college players in the mlb. I think your can’t miss 18 year old prospects will still go straight to the league, but I’d bet now if you aren’t a top 30-50 players in your class going to college makes a lot of sense. Especially with NIL

4 HR is more rare than a perfect game.

Plus 6-6 !!!?! … I have no idea how many have achieved that.

And tack on all the other stats and runs and bases and XBH.

He truly had the GREATEST statistical game in MLB history last night. It’s incredible to see that line. Wow

Funny thing is he also hit a 381 ft double that would've been another homer in 6 other stadiums.

Yeah that swing on the changeup that went out in left was sweet. It wasn’t swinging from the heels, home run or strikeout (although he strikes out a good bit but with his swing I think he can reduce that), he went out and hit the ball where it was pitched and it went over the wall.

Kurtz and Wilson are special
quote:

Kurtz leads all Major League rookies in home runs (23), RBIs (59) extra-base hits (43) and OPS (1.060) with his 18 doubles second most among AL rookies (behind Boston's Carlos Narváez). Wilson still leads all rookies in batting average (.312), but Kurtz is even making a run at that top spot, now hitting .305 after his six-hit masterpiece.

Yes.

I was going to ask if we were going to talk about the other piss missile he sent to center that missed being a home run by inches it looked like. And they weren’t bad pitches dudes driving the ball to the other side of the yard. The only inside pitch he hit out was 97 fastball up and in.Very impressive performance

From LSU alone, Herring and Morgan will likely be there before long. Kyle Teel for UVa has played for the White Sox already.

I went to the game last night. That was quite an impressive performance to see in person.
