quote:

The second half of the season hasn't been kind to the Baylor football team.

For the people who weren't already soured on the school amid its sexual-assault investigation involving the football program, the five-game losing streak offered another reason to be down on Baylor.

And one coach's wife has had enough of it. She says her family is "already one foot out the door."

Staley Lebby, wife of Bears running backs coach Jeff Lebby and daughter of fired head coach Art Briles, blasted Baylor on Twitter Saturday evening.

So she will like when he turns a blind eye, we will see when she is sexually assaulted! I hope she doesn't experience it.

What I don't understand is when did coaches become the police? If you are sexually assaulted go to the fricking police not the football coach or the school.

In most states, if you are in a position like a coach or a teacher you are legally obligated to report something like that if its reported to you. If it was just some high school teacher that didn't report it, their arse would've been grass as well.

And that's without even getting into the moral obligation someone should have in that situation.

She also claimed tonight that 1/2 the assistant coaches already have jobs elsewhere. It's believable by the lack of preparation we've had starting with the TCU game.

Coaches cared until the team got to 6 wins so they could get their bowl game bonus. Since then, they haven't cared at all.

Glad someone gets it. Once Briles was told though, he needed to escalate and didn't; same as Joe Pa.

I understand this but why go to the coach and not the police.

What did I miss? Didn't he get fired earlier in the season?

Yes, but that staff was incestuous. Briles' son is the OC and SIL is the RB coach. Prolly a couple of cousins on the staff as well...

No cousins, but an immensely loyal staff. Before some departed for Tulsa he had multiple guys who had been with him since Stephenville.
