Next year’s Army vs. Air Force game will be played at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field, 1st college game held there

Globe Life Field — the home of MLB’s Texas Rangers — will host the Army vs. Air Force football game in 2021. An official date for the game has not yet been determined.

The Rangers announced the news Thursday morning and are expected to hold a Zoom press conference with Army and Air Force athletic directors Mike Buddie and Nathan Pine. The game will also have a title sponsor, which hasn’t been unveiled yet.

Globe Life Field is a 40,300-seat roofed baseball stadium in Arlington, Texas. It opened this past May. The Army vs. Air Force game will be the first FBS football game played at the stadium. This past baseball season, in the midst of the pandemic, it hosted both the NLCS and the World Series.

That’s Army v Air Force.

Also, Globe Life has been converted to a football stadium for the most part. It’s been hosting games all year. Has a turf football field now.

That's the old Globe Life Park. Globe Life Field is the Rangers' new ballpark

Aren't both the old and new Rangers stadiums called Globe Life? Which one are we talking about? The old or new?

Yes, it would be what used to be called The Ballpark in Arlington. (It was converted for the old XFL but now hosts a lot of high school games)
