I’d like the record to reflect that I made fun of the Herm hire when it was made, then got made fun of for his success because of that, and now I am reclaiming my laughing at the Herm hire position

Seems like his big problem was hiring some snitches.

Hasn't pretty much the top half of the SEC, and Ohio State, Michigan and Texas already been paying players for this past decade?

I'm failing to see the issue with Arizona State doing it. Must be COVID "violations".

This is a non-story outside of the West coast. West coast liberals want to make an example of college football coupled with some disgruntled former coaches and you have this. In Power 5 football if you aren't cheating you won't be employed for long. Herm was/is doing the right thing. I just wish he was doing it in the SEC, ACC or Big 12 because this story would go nowhere.

I’m sure if it were Cincinnati or Arkansas State the NCAA would already be breaking down the doors of the athletic department.

I guarantee there was a lot of clandestine recruiting going on everywhere

Sure. There's also holding every play too. But it's only a penalty if it's so obvious the ref sees it.

ASU was probably being blatantly dumb with their cheating.

You know I thought it was a couple of year ago during the Army AA game seeing all those guys choose ASU.

Have you seen the co-eds at ASU?

No, they were dumb enough to take notes during staff meetings. And they turned in receipts and then they took pictures with the recruits.

the NCAA is in possession of "screenshots, receipts, pictures and emails related to numerous potential violations within Arizona State's football program."

They don't get the notes on the motherfricking criminal conspiracy if not for the snitches.
