I'm totally trading tweets with Scott Van Pelt right now. No big deal.

Clear up the SVP rumor about him being on TD. If he is not a member, then get him to join.

Cool.
Off- topic, but what are the chances Ghazi owns this shirt?

Yeah, its pretty cool. When I went to the Hornets-Mavs game earlier this year a guy had a jersey that said Ridirkulous instead of Nowitzki.

Especially considering they will add more mid level players to an already stacked roster

Wade/James > Jordan/Pippen

12 rings says otherwise, only 11 to go for this duo. That would mean wade is 34, if they won every title for the next 5 years in order to pass that duo. Also Lebron is great but Michael changed the game. Not there yet, maybe but chances are long that they are remembered as better players. Kobe/Shaq was better then Lebron/Wade. I like Wade but I am taking Durant before him.

That's a horrible way to judge individuals, IMO.

At least this guy knows he's a hack. If you replace Jordan and Pippen with Wade and Lebron do all those teams still win titles? Yes, of course they do.

I dont see how u could take durant over wade at this point in time. Maybe in 2 years or so it will be different

alrighty

the lebron fanboy contingent is ramping up

I love lebron, think he's a great player... probably the best in the game today

but starting out with the assumption that replacing MJ/Pippen with Lebron/Pippen results in the same 6 championships is a big assumption (esp considering the quality of the teams the Bulls beat)

I never said Lebron/Pippen. I said Wade/Lebron.

Lebron is a lot better player than Pippen, and Wade is closer to Jordan than Pippen is to Lebron

sorry, typo on my part... i meant to say replacing MJ/Pippen with Lebron/Wade has no guarantee of the same results

To me that is fanboy speculation. You can say it if you like tho

As much as people love jordans legacy there isnt much he brought to the court that wade doesnt bring, whereas there are a lot of things lebron brings to the table that pippen didnt.

The role players in the NBA now are better than the role players in the jordan/pippen era or any other era for that matter

It just isnt as obvious as it is in football because measureables arent considered as important in basketball

Career Playoff Averages

Lebron
28.9 PPG .459 FG% 8.6 Rebs 7.1 Assists 1.6 Steals 1.0 Blocks

Wade
26.2 PPG .479 FG% 5.5 Rebs 5.9 Assists 1.6 Steals 1.1 Blocks

Jordan
33.4 PPG .487 FG% 6.4 Rebs 5.7 Assists 2.1 Steals .88 Blocks

Pippen
17.5 PPG .444 FG% 7.6 Rebs 5.0 Assists 1.9 Steals .9 Blocks

is it really a big stretch to say Wade/Lebron > Jordan/Pippen?

Keep in mind the first 9 years of Jordans career there were a lot more points scored in the league.

1984-85 Averages
110.8 PPG Per Team
102.1 Possessions Per Team
49.1% FG%

2011 Averages
99.6 PPG Per Team
92.1 Possessions Per Team
45.9% FG%

In my biased opinion MJ and Pip would own those bitches in every way. Even more so, Jordans dominance over Wade would be epic. Not even close.
