Ronnie Wheat was an analyst with him at LSU. Didn’t even last a year in Waco
Was Roberts really his “mentor”? He spent 1 year with him at Delta State in 2007.

Sucks for coaches but in the transfer era players can get a position coach fired by doing the - Hey head coach, our position coach is fired or I/we are gone.

Roberts is well respected in coaching circles and Baylor ran a ton of his stuff. Pretty surprised, is take him at LSU should house roll out.

I said at some time this past summer or so if Baylor makes the playoffs, roberts will get a shot at some big job. Lol ?? lol ?? .

Confused by this as well, I don’t think anyone who watched Baylor this year thought the defense was the problem.

Unless the coach is terrible and deserves firing you should never cave to players on that. Give them that power and the inmates start running the asylum.
