I don’t think so. I don’t believe Calipari wins at Arky either. His best coaching days are behind him.

Ok so who is going to? I'm talking about a literal conference and/or NCAA championship? Cal has got to be close to their best shot

I know some will say Wade but that's a very iffy proposition with the show cause plus while he's done well in conference the NCAAs tell a different story

Arkansas had the number 2 recruiting class in the nation two years ago.

Arkansas brought in elite talent these last two years but Muss was too busy trying to leave Arkansas that he didn't care enough to do his job properly.

To this day it still annoys me that all Muss could squeeze out of that team was just a sweet Sixteen appearance.

Muss was too busy squeezing his own nipples.

I’m excited to have a coach that wears suits.

Sounds like Muss.

Yet not being a very good developer and an average in game coach, he did pretty good in five seasons at Arkansas.

That is what happens when Muss was more focused on job searching than the job itself.

So Arkansas - who cannot bring in elite talent the same way Kentucky can - is going to hire him for a few twilight years?
Not even a Arky fan but let’s not act like Cal was bringing in Blue Chip talent long before he got the Kentucky job at Memphis & UMass.

Who would have thought that Kentucky would lose a coach to Arkansas

I can’t figure out if Arkansas has money or not. They pinch pennies constantly and then give out 40 million dollar contracts to basketball coaches. There’s no way Muss would have left if he had been shown just a little of that money.

He was getting 4 million a year at Arkansas, I'm not sure what USC decided to pay him or if Arkansas had a chance to counter.

Yep, it was time for a change. I told my wife last week when it was announced he was staying but there would be staff changes and other changes and none of that had been announced since that he was likely leaving.

It's good for both sides. Arky gets a HOF coach, and Kentucky fans get a fresh start with what I'm sure will be a terrific new hire.

What will happen to our team, and our recruiting class? Who knows, will some go to Arky or somewhere else? Might depend on whether Drew wants to keep them or bring in some guys from Baylor.

No. Beard will leave OM now. OM will then not be above hiring Wade
