Anyone that isn’t convinced yet that the NFL is rigged is lost

The games the league provides are entertainment, and it can produce that entertainment anyway it pleases. I’m surprised more people have not come to that realization yet.

The NFL has built up its brand over the last 35-40 years largely due to parity. They have done everything in their power to make all teams equal. The last thing they want is for one team to dominate the sport. Because all I'm seeing on social media is people pissed off that the Patriots are going to the Super Bowl again.

When did people get suckered into thinking refs can't influence games like they can so easily in the NBA?
It's a fricking business. It's sports entertainment.
It's not some sacred cow. People cheat, lie, influence...we've known this from the 50's in sports.
This isn't Little League
- the respect some adults give Pro sports is beyond compare. It's a for profit business that has an interest in outcomes and their spectacle called the Super Bowl.
Who the frick in the NFL ownership wanted Blake Bortles and the lowly Jags in the Super Bowl?
I love how people shite on the WWE or Nascar and act like the NFL isn't the biggest business in America that has the BIGGEST incentive to manufacture things.

Do you realize how many people would have to keep it a secret for that to work? Too many. Humans are notorious not being able to keep secrets, even ones involving national security. This is where all these conspiracy theories fall apart like 9/11, moon landing etc. Too many people that would have to keep their mouth shut.

Then you should also be old enough to realize how much the NFL would lose if there was a whiff that things were rigged. If people found out the NFL went all WWE the league would fold overnight.
