Great question, both could probably take him down in an amateur wrestling match, a street fight haku would try to rip your eyes out. However considering all three people’s character it would never happen

Been watching since '81 and a pro wrestling historian since '89. I've worked in various aspects of the business since then. I still moderate and write for a few groups and sites.

I've heard wrestlers say that Steve Blackman was as tough as Haku.

This isn't the weird Twitter/Reddit wrestling forum subculture on here, my man. These are actual normal people. The general public quantify all wresting fans over 10 years old as mouthbreathing virgins. If you need proof, just look at the comment section when ESPN or some other national news source posts something about wrestling on their social media.

Hell, go tell your non-wrestling fan coworker that you like to watch wrestling as a hobby. You will visibly see their opinion of you as a person drop in real time.

What makes it even more amazing is that he was 62 years old.

Dude is a freak.

Blackman’s no one to frick with but, in general, the acknowledged tough guys tended to be shaky, Barbarian, and Dr Death.

Blackman would whip your arse but he likely wouldn’t rip your eye out or bite your nose off like Haku.

The dangerous thing about Haku was that he didn't play by any rules. Nothing was off-limits to him. He was trained to defeat his enemy using any means necessary.

I've spoken to numerous guys over the years, and Haku and Harley Race are the two who most consistently come up. I spoke to Dan Spivey (who's a badass himself) and he said Harley was the one guy he wouldn't mess with.
