Going with the wife this July to see a home game. Tickets aren't that expensive. I had a guy tell me to get outfield seats. Any seating recommendations for that stadium?

TIA.

Ive been about a dozen times. First base line for a 6:10 start, the sun is brutal.

Rooftop is cool is you're not really interested in the game.

Lots of bars within walking distance, we usually go to Blake Street Tavern

Rooftop is awesome. You are way up though. There is a craft beer bar up there and a CHUBurger by Oskar Blues.

Look no further than Falling Rock Taphouse right outside the gate for a place to hang out before or after.

Beautiful stadium though. One of my favorites.

All good recs so far.

Definitely sit on the 3rd base side to avoid the sun and check out the rooftop.

There are a ton of bars within 2-3 blocks of the stadium. The falling Rock and Great Divide recs are great beer. There are quite a few places with cool rooftop decks as well, like LoDo's and XIV. Just bar hop, you're bound to find something you like.

Chapultepec has jazz after 8-9 if you're in to that.

Been before, but sat in the Rooftop. Watched nothing, drank a lot.

I went years ago, it was clean and I liked their center field.

The Rooftop is cool as well

I go to multiple games every since I moved to Colorado after college. I've been to about eight games this year, and I'll be there tomorrow night vs San Fran. It's a good time, and unless you're in the upper deck theres not a bad seat in the house.

Usually my buddy who works for MillerCoors sets us up with tix in the Coors box, but if not, I always buy the cheapest ticket possible and then pretty much sit wherever I want. A lot of times I just stand at the railing in the outfield right above the away team bullpen. It's fun watching the game and getting a front row view of some MLB pitchers. I've never spent more than $15 on a ticket.

Game is at 7:00PM, so I guess either baseline would be fine by then. Baseline tickets range from $40-$60/ea through Ticketmaster. Outfield tickets are $20/ea.

Go get an elk jalapeño cheddar hot dog from Biker Jim's either before or after the game. I recommend asking them to add cream cheese as well.

Blake Street Tavern

No ViewHouse action with the bros?

I dig Blake Street and think it's the best pre or post game option in the area.

Probably went about 6 years ago.

Beautiful park.

Bought cheap tickets at the counter ... eventually, moved right near the field on the first base side.

Awesome back-drop. Weather was perfect.

Really glad that I went ... it was a last minute decision and time allowed.
