I have a lot of cards that I bought as a kid and held on to them. I was wondering if selling them on eBay is the way to go. Any experience with selling your card collection?

eBay would be the place to do it. If you go to a card shop they will more than likely lowball you, because they need to make their money.

Selling on eBay would take patience. You need to know what you have. If it’s a bunch of base cards, look for rare rookies. Otherwise, sell the cards in lots. Get pricing from what has already sold.

If they are from the 90s they are worthless unless you have highly graded rookies/autos etc

A lot of that '90s stuff is junk. But some of those inserts and parallels are worth something if you have the right names. I have been selling what I don't want on eBay for about 3 years now.

I have a Brett Favre rookie card that I can’t find. Anyone know how much that would be worth?

Jordan cards have been on fire since the ESPN documentary. I don't really want to move mine, but may for the right price. Some of those rare Jordan parallels sell for thousands. I found an old Bulls sweatshirt and a Dream Team shirt with Jordan on it buried in my old closet, and easily sold both when the documentary premiered. I sold some Bryant rookie cards too last year, but they didn't grade as high as I hoped.

Probably a few dollars. Sets were mass produced when he debuted, which really hurts the value. I have a rookie of him that I will keep. I still can't picture him as a Falcon.

eBay will rip you a new one in fees. In my opinion, the best way to sell your entire collection is to find some groups on Facebook and try to move them there. There are several pages that you can join.

My buddy recommended selling on reddit too to avoid the eBay fees.

Are you in BR? I would probably buy them depending on what you have. Can use current eBay comps and avoid all the fees.

Post your email then edit the post after I see it

1991 Stadium club is his best rookie, in gem mint it’s only about 300-400 dollars currently
