Imsa starts at Daytona next weekend. Sebring after that.

IMSA is cool because it's the highest level racing a "gentleman driver" can realistically reach...
Plus it's local, so there's races everywhere - it's worth it to go to a race if you can...

I'm at Sebring International Raceway right now typing this.
There's been a lot of testing of the new LMPh cars and will be more in the next couple weeks.
Trans Am testing this Wednesday and Thursday.

I watch IndyCar, but I struggle to get into the IMSA and endurance races because I don’t understand the various classes.

Sorry for the incorrect rec info; the Daytona 24 opens the season next weekend. Looks like it is broadcast on NBC Sports.
I’m a Porsche guy just so you know. Thsy will field a new car this year, the 963. It may take a few races to get it up to its potential, but I expect great things from them. The factory team will field two cars & a supported Penske team will have two.
In rarly practice before todays qualifying 100 minute race, the Acura looks like the car to beat. Cadillac will be in the mix and not sure about the. BMW cars.
