ETA: but if the original poster that’s trying to cause a stir must know, yea I’m from the bayou, live in Dallas for work, love the beach, grew up a Yankees, Saints, LSU fan, family member has a beach house in Belize and I frequent southern Costa Rica whenever I can as often as I can. Soooo suck it.

Compare Belize to Costa Rica for me beachy. I have a ton of SW points and looking to visit one or the other this summer.

It’s hard because when we go to CR it’s basically roughing it, no ac, not super nice places to stay, but manageable, not really a resort, but we have a great time doing zip lining, horseback riding to the waterfalls, catamaran trips, wildlife hikes, snorkeling etc. Super cheap, $20 goes a really really long way.
Belize on the other hand is different because we stay at a family member’s home and it’s in a private community on a private beach. We have everything we need when we need it. Still super cheap, but we don’t do all of the diff activities there as we do in CR. I love em both equally. Belize to relax and CR to get adventurous.

Ex gf’s dad retired to Jaco years ago. Id recommend taking the trip to anyone.

Yes! Jaco, home of the very best Costa Rican hookers. Lol. We pass through there on the way to Quepos and Dominical. Jaco is a lot of fun.

And like Beach said, it’s cheap. And idk if you you’re looking for this but there are quite a few Americans there. But it doesn’t have a tourist feel at all. They’re just some relaxing arse cool folks.

I think Dallas is in a great spot to make a run at Giannis in 2021 if he can’t win with the Bucks. Luka will be 22, Porzingis only 25. Giannis will get a supermax, and have an opportunity to pair up with 2 young stars for at least 4-5 seasons
