Here is my bold prediction that is not related directly to this topic. Anthony Davis will be noticeably better than Nerlens Noel.

Like the difference between Wall and Teague.

That is a massive difference and very bold prediction. Don't think Noel has the quite the wingspan and athleticism of Davis but he looks much more comfortable in the post.

A bubble team?

the argument is stupid for a number of reasons. mainly because the reason TRob is more valuable is because the rest of our bigs (sans withey) and our bench are so inadequate. no one should be rewarded or penalized for that and it shouldnt be a factor, but i think it is a little bit.

To each his own. Davis lets Kentucky play a certain style that they couldn't play without him. Maybe Robinson is more valuable because they don't have a lot of other good players. But Davis to me affects the entire style that Kentucky wants to play, and that has to count for a lot.

If I'm a voter, I'm going with Davis. Most impactful player in the country, who just happens to be on the best team.

I try to make a few bold predictions every year. When I get them right (Kyrie being a stud, McAdoo being overrated, Rashard Lewis being one of the worst contracts in NBA history), I'll bring it up

When I'm dead wrong (Tyrus Thomas becoming a stud in the NBA, Blake Griffin not being a potential 9 or 10 time All-Star), I'll take my hits, too

why? have you guys seen the straw polls? as of like last week robinson still had a pretty good lead on davis. im not fully sure of their legitimacy but there has been nothing to change that either way. both are matching each other.for the past few games. i do think that espn wants davis to win though, so we'll see.

Well I would too. But that really has nothing to do with the award.

And how horrible were the two calls at the end of the Kansas/Mizzou game today? Robinson murdered the guy on his block at the end of regulation, and then Taylor wasn't touched in overtime for on his game-winning drive.

Davis Offensive Rating 140.8
Davis Defensive Rating 76.6

Robinson Offensive Rating 112.0
Robinson Defensive Rating 81.4

These are points scored and allowed per 100 possessions.

Points per game isn't a good stat to measure a player. It really only tells you how many times a player shot the ball and how fast a team plays. You have to look deeper. How efficiently is he scoring the ball? When you look at stats like that you'll clearly see that Davis is head and shoulders above Robinson.

Agree, probably wasn't a foul.

Either way, Mizzou got some calls in Columbia, so it's equal
