Yes pels have leverage now which is why Lal gave you a boat.

But that leverage decreases because 1.5 years is better than 1. So obviously Lal will lower the offer past deadline

And you have to rely on a nutjob named Kyrie to stay in Boston if you go that route.

Problem with this gamble is that the odds are currently against youu

Dear God man. You have no clue how leverage works in a trade. You have no clue what teams will offer for AD this summer. Just stop.

He essentially is. He has been neutered.

He will be out by the offseason.

Celtics fans on r/nba calling the Pels crazy are most definitely Lebron fanboys

Celtics fans are notorious for thinking that they should be the benefactor of one sided deals. They think the Lakers deal is awesome because they don't think Tatum could ever be possibly included in a deal for AD.

Your potential "leverage" is just a bad gamble at this point though dude.

For true leverage you need to hope NYK wins the draft lottery

That Kyrie stays in Boston

That LA doesn't just go for for kwahi/Kyrie and move on.

You need 2/3 of the above to happen or the team is just trading against themselves

No we fricking don't. What if kyrie wants to play in NY? KD? There are a lot of moving parts to this and you keep focusing on only Zion kyrie and Tatum. Please. God. Stop.

then they won't get him and when they sign FAs this offseason, AD won't have that option and we find out his real list

you've yet to explain how the LAL deal is more +EV than other deals/options

Don't bother with Mr Perfect. Just say "K" to everything he says.

His logic is that the more teams involved, the worse the Pelicans are off, because they will all magically offer less, because, something.

Just don't bother.

I've already explained.

Nyk is unlikely to get zion and then trade Zion.
Boston giving up tatum is unlikely
Boston's picks will likely never be as good as Lakers assets (past NBA data confirms this)

Any expected +ev you have relies on a good deal of luck

yeah a bunch of the teams he's says he'll re-sign with are all in the running for #1

If LA drops the offer it will be due to Boston not coming with a high level offer. If the Pels ask Boston and come back to LA, it's a tell Boston didn't pony up.

The Lakers know what the Knicks can offer because that's 100% lottery dependent. Boston is the unknown.

People talk about the Pels leverage. They have max leverage over the Lakers right now. They just don't have leverage over other teams. Offseason, they have more teams in it, but run the risk of losing leverage vs the Lakers.

huge assumption and even if it's 2 or 3 it's still better than the LAL deal

quote:

Boston giving up tatum is unlikely

Brown + their assortment of 1sts > LAL's offer, as is

quote:

Boston's picks will likely never be as good as Lakers assets (past NBA data confirms this)

you're failing to take salary into account

if the LAL assets were under rookie deals (as in they were rookies), it would be a great deal. your argument above assumes this

ingram becoming an all star (not all-NBA) requires a ton of luck

That’s your opinion. Everyone disagrees. Supply and demand is on everyone else’s side. We get it. Your position has been stated. We acknowledge and will allow you to die on your hill.
