Im pretty sure You wont Find 1 post where I used one of those bullshite cliches.
I'm pretty sure that I don't give a shite, because the only thing that matters at this point is that you called me "Tebow's biggest hater", which in my book lists you as a fanboy.
I was one of the few people who pointed to Tebow's character, and I referred to a friend of mine who got to meet him this offseason.
You can look back during the preseason where I said that the lockout hurt his development, and that for his long term success, he'll need to be a better passer. I also said at that time that putting him in running packages, including option packages, would be good. Now, I didn't mean to do that almost exclusively for their offense, but still...
Yes, I wanted the Jets to shut the Broncos out because I WAS SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING TEBOW THREADS AND I WAS (AND AM) SICK OF THE PHRASE "TEBOW TIME". It's a team game. Yes, Tebow is an important piece--their running game has improved drastically because of his presence on the field (same thing happened with Vick in Atlanta and Philly and Young in Tennessee and Philly). Running QBs tend to improve the overall running game because of the additional threat to account for.
But that doesn't excuse the multiple three and outs during the first three quarters of the game and an inability to pose a real passing threat on a team, which is my main critique and why I don't see them playing AS THEY ARE NOW as a formula for extended success. Again, look at the 2006 Falcons. By the end of the season, they had to move away from their read option packages because teams started to figure them out. You could see some of that in the San Diego game this weekend. It's going to get worse over the next five games.
I don't want to see the fans turn on Tebow as they will do to others. I want him to be a better passer. I just don't want him put too high on a pedestal, because the fall is even farther.
So my call for temperance is what makes me a "hater", in some peoples' eyes.

Philip rivers is not a "shitty QB" regardless of this year being down.
Regardless the point is just like people were looking for ways to hate on tebow before, now they're looking for ways to prop him up as this guy who has this amazing superhuman will to win and he just wills the shite out of it with his gigantic fricking heart that pumps the will to win through his body.
- e.g. Like this guy who wrote the article in the OP, using some made up QB rating to make Tebow look better and then comparing him to the shitty QB's that Denver's defense is shutting down and coming to the conclusion that Tebow is responsible for Denver's success because he is outplaying opposing QBs.
The truth is the dude is a horrible passer who is having mild success running the football in an unconventional offense that other teams don't have a lot of film on. The defense is playing lights out and the teams they've beaten are a combined 31-24 .

He cant score 20 points in a game and will not be relevant for long.
How many times since Tebow has been in the game have the Broncos been forced to score? Basically, I feel that the coaching staff doesn't have confidence in Tebow to open the offense up. They just run the ball, run the ball, and run the ball as long as they are in the game. Then, when they absolutely have to (at the end of half or game) they get Tebow in the shotgun and send more than 1 guy out on a pass route. What's Tebow's successful drive rate then? Probably about 60-75% of the time.
Obviously, they didn't do much against Detroit. And I'm sure at some point in the 2nd half vs Miami they were trying to score and didn't. But every 2 minute drive that I have seen since those two games, Tebow has led his team to points.
Why does everyone forget that the Broncos scored 38 points vs the Raiders with Tebow at qb? They haven't been held under 20 points all 6 games.

I'm almost positive that never happened. I did say you were a hater, but what were you expecting people to think when you said:
quote:
Tim Tebow is a terrible NFL quarterback. He's fricking horrible. I, for one, hope the Jets shut the Broncos out tonight.
quote:Maybe you're not a hater, but it was pretty easy to come to that conclusion reading some of your posts.
