That's it, I have a man crush on Rush. It certainly can't be that I am tired of the media making up absolute bullshite on a daily basis. Nice of you to ignore all my facts.

It is a fact that he said that it's Obama's America where white children get beat up by Black children. It's also a fact that such a quote, when said sarcastically, in particular, can be taken out of context.

Still, the reason that he says these things is that he knows that people WILL take it seriously and he will make more money. Such is the nature of a shock jock.

I don't think that the guy is harmless, and I would say that he is guilty of igniting a lot of anger in this country, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't be given an opportunity to own a franchise in the NFL.

However, Goodell thinks otherwise, because he sees Limbaugh as a business liability; as commissioner of the league, he has a responsibility to look out for the image and the value of ALL franchises in the league. Obviously, he feels that Limbaugh as an owner devalues the league, and is thus not a good business decision.

And before people talk about "letting felons" into the league, those guys have either served their time or have been suspended and are working on rehabbing themselves and their image. Additionally, THEY MAKE MONEY FOR THE LEAGUE and its owners, and this is probably the most important thing.

Im not necessarily against Rush having the opportunity to buy a team. However, just like many say its not a players "right" to play in the league, its a privilege. I dont believe its Rush's right to own a team, its a privilege. And if other owners, players, etc. dont want him in their club, they dont have to let him. For whatever reasons, as long as its not against any laws. His controversial statements whether people think theyre racist or not, are plenty enough reason not to let him in.

Well, of course it isn't his right to own a team and the NFL has the right to choose whomever they wish. I personally think he would be a great owner because would keep the team in St. Louis, and he eat, sleeps and shits the NFL.

The mass campaign against him is nothing but selective outrage. All these supposed "racial comments" just came to light now? And most of the ones being spread are not out of context they are outright lies.

If he does get partial ownership, and odds are against him doing that, this story will die at no one will give a shite about Limbaugh anymore.

the black community has a lot of issues to address themselves than to worry about Rush Limbaugh.

All Rush really wants is for everyone to be able to work for and achieve the american dream....everyone! And of course he wants us to all be safe from terrorism and acts of foreign aggression, as well as being able to achieve, invent and create jobs to stimulate the economy without having big government and organized labor screw everything up that they touch....like Fannie, Freddie, public education, medicare, social security, now banks and car manufacturers and soon, when we can have medical care and when we can't. Rush is a great sports fan, worked for the KC Royals back in the day, loves Missouri, is willing to put his money into a struggling franchise with a proud history, etc. Anyone who would even bat an eye at him becoming a minority owner, or for that matter a majority owner, of a pro football team is a myopic dunce!!

I listen about 10 minutes every month or so while the radio is scanning in my car. I'm tired of political talk, but not tired of what is good about the USA and that's all Rush wants. Just wanted to reiterate my point....if you look closely, I changed the post a little.

The NFL owners have the ultimate say. If they don't want him in, they will make sure he isn't a minority owner. However, the Sharptons of the world are treating this like he's running for public office. To them I say, get a life. I guess Rams fans are the only ones who should really care outside of the other NFL owners.

most, not all, of the black community is always looking for a scapegoat or someone to call out, so that they won't have to address the real issues.
you should worry about your own damn self, and not call out some dude you've never talked to. now that is called discrimination...
