Annual No Two Bowl Games Should Overlap Rant

Spread the games out, give each one their own time slot. All bowl games are a crap shoot anyways, a 6-6 squad facing off against a 7-5 in some random arse bowl in buttfrick no where? Inject that shite right into my veins, don’t make me choose between equally dysfunctional offspring.
I want all the bowls. Garbage floating majestically across the field in front of maybe 5000 fans during the Hawaii Bowl? Hell to the yes. It’s a Christmas tradition unlike any other at this point. Let me watch some kids from Florida freeze their asses off in Boise Idaho fighting for the glorious Potato bowl.

From Dec 30- Jan 4 the majority of people are off work or barely working, let’s spread this shite out and enjoy each game for what it is.
The degenerate gamblers, the alcoholics, those escaping their hellacious families over Christmas break, and the CFB addicts of the world need this.

Agreed except for NYD bowls in early part of the day. There should be multiple options then.

ya at the very least have a mandatory 30 minute delay for a post/pregame show before the next one starts.
that way if it runs long you trim the BS talk rather then miss any part of the game waiting for the early 68-7 game to finish

I hate NYD morning when sometimes up to 3 SEC teams and 2 B1G teams are playing at the same time, often from the same state.
For example, Alabama and Auburn play at the same time slot. I have a BIG problem with that.

My complaint has always been why are we getting so many SEC/B1G games on New Years. Tradition I get that, but wouldn't Auburn/Minny rather play on primetime on the 29th than overlapping with 2 other good games and right before the Rose bowl?
I am fine giving the smaller conferences some primetime games, but on NYD there are like 6 games that would outclass some of the other bowl games.

naw man. I liked having like 10 games on new years day. Set up 3 tvs and make a day long party out of it. Our house used to look like a sports book

I understand there’s going to be overlap. But no two games should have the bulk of them going on against each other. 90 minutes between kicks is fine. And not more than 4 games in any day. That gives you the noon to 3, 1:30 to 4:30, 5 to 8, and 7-10 time slots.
