In the first inning. Batting in the 2 hole. Not something you see very often.

He threw a pitch 100.6 mph in the top of the inning and hit a ball 115.2 mph in the bottom of the inning. That is amazing.

That ball had a rocket up it’s arse. On top of that, he is throwing triple digits pitching.

He smashed the ball. I was impressed before I even realized he was the pitcher.

He can flat hit. Hope he’s fully recovered from surgery. Is he listed as DH/P so when he’s taken out of game he can still hit?

They just said he’s thrown the hardest registered pitch from this weekend and has the hardest hit homerun of the weekend. What an absolute monster

ARod is very hard to listen as a color analyst. I enjoy him on the pregame and post game playoff stuff but he annoys me on these broadcasts.

Dude is dealing on the mound. His splitter is unhittable tonight.

And on high fastball, difficult to hit but if you can it will fly.

Did he get spiked or did he get rolled?

Maddon proving he’s smarter than anyone else costs him yet again

Luckily he wasn’t planted yet. That could’ve been worse
