I firmly believe Major Leaugue Baseball is in the midst of a great resurgence!! The amount of talent in MLB right now is staggering! If you think about this post season and last year's world series, all of those teams are the youngest teams in baseball. Houston, LA, Cleveland, Chicago and New York are all loaded with elite young stars. As a baseball fan, the last 2 years of MLB post season has been amazing! So, can baseball take advantage of this and all of the outside issues plaguing other sports and reclaim its position as America's favorite past time? I hope so!

I'm really rooting for the city of Houston...they deserve a title!

you don’t have to. you’re captivating yet another generation to the game. look at the regional viewership numbers. this game is about to explode again, at the expense of football

Most people aren't paying attention. I just watched the first inning of baseball I've watched all year.

This board is the only place I've seen anyone discuss baseball recently. Haven't heard a word about it at work or anywhere else. Fanboys can keep dreaming about some great resurgence.

How anybody could watch SNF over the World Series needs their head examined. Baseball is back! The game is truly exciting and full of young energetic players.

I haven’t followed or really watched baseball in years, but I’ve seen every inning of this World Series.

I think Baseball’s problem is the regular season is just too long and boring for the most part, makes it tough for fans to really get involved.

I've watched exactly one baseball game all year. Glad it was this one.

This kind of game makes me want to watch the next one.

Same. idk who any of these players are. Just Kershaw I guess. They need to do a better job of marketing their stars to the casual fans

Ya think that's the issue for me. It was a close game so I guess I should have been intrigued but I didn't know any of the players so I just could not maintain an interest

I agree, MLB has to invest heavily into promoting all of this young ELITE talent in MLB right now!!! The game is so good right now, it really has the chance to capitalize on the issues the NFL are going through and become a dominant force in pro sports. These past two World Series have been nothing short of incredible!!
