So I'm sure you would still be complaining about Mixon when he transferred to Cal, UCLA, etc.

Then you'd be bitching about school xyz allowing him to play 4 years (if he so desired). Again if you want to blame someone blame the NCAA

It was a redshirt year. He was suspended in September and reinstated on February 4th 2015. He served a five month suspension and participated in workouts after February 4th and participated in spring practice. That isn't a one year suspension.

He was able to stay because of how good of a football player he is.

My opinion of Stoops wouldn't change, but if he actually said this (which is the truth) I would at least respect his honesty.

No one is arguing this? I would just think less of that school just like I think less of OU now.

He's listed as a redshirt sophomore. He got a redshirt year for breaking four bones in a girls face.

so you think that he should just be essentially banned from football for one mistake?

I hope you're trolling, because punching the ever-living shite out of a woman un-provoked (physically, anyway) isn't a terribly forgivable mistake.

Apparently so. I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do for punishment equal to the crime he commuted

He nearly killed a woman. Yes I would be perfectly okay with him never playing again.

Oklahoma should get boosters like Alabama. Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones sure do appreciate the Bama boosters

i dont think he should be banned from playing football again. i would not want UCLA or A&M to bring him in, but if any other school, or even OU for the matter, would take him in and just actually punish him then i would not have an issue with him playing. sure, i wouldnt think hes the greatest person ever, but i wouldnt have an issue with him playing on a football team if he was just punished

Of course it's forgivable.

The fake outrage of all these white knight losers is hilarious.
