I don't understand how anyone with even a basic knowledge of MMA gives Lesnar the nod here.

Basically, Cael Sanderson is the reason that Lesnar had a better collegiate record than Cormier. That said, Lesnar's size would probably put him ahead in a straight wrestling match, but this is an MMA match and Cormier is a much more well-rounded MMA fighteR than Lesnar.

Yep. Guess I will pick DC to win this fight for the fifth time in this thread. Lol. Just saying its closer than you guys are saying. It will be hard for a wrestler like DC to put the main focus on other stuff besides wrestling, especially with Brock trying to take him there.

Brock's only hope is to get top position but even there it's probably not an advantage for Brock. Brock is sloppy and should be ripe for sweeps and subs

Bros, no one has answered the biggest question of all:

If he wins, does he bring the belt to RAW or Smackdown?

Brock has zero chance of passing through the USADA wickets.

This fight will not happen.

That’s why if I’m miotic, I’m not taking any other fights and I’m staying ready

And the UFC should tell him to stay ready. DC is on a tight schedule given his age and plan to retire. Don’t frick it up trying to make this fight happen

The Brock fight can't happen until Jan 2019. DC said he wants to fight before that. I would be in championship form in Jan 2019 if I were Miocic.

As much as MMA fans would hate it, I would love it if Lesnar did some press conferences with Paul Heyman as his advocate, while DC would bring in Jim Cornette as his manager.

DC will frick his life up

Keep in mind that Brock Lesnar is going to be pumped full of steroids, while Daniel Cormier needs to stay clean so he can fight again.

Brock's all about the bottom line. Win or lose, he's getting paid.

Cormier said tonight that this will be his last fight.

Yep, and I suspect he'll find a way to get paid even if he pisses hot again.

They're not going to fight. He may as well get ready for the Stipe rematch.

Brock will have the same gameplan he had against Couture — lay his 285 pounds on him and try to wear him down. Brock’s striking isn’t nearly as bad as some say it is. He doesn’t like to get hit; we know that. But I think in his fight vs Cain (and even Reem), he was actually afraid of getting hit. He’s not afraid of Cormier.

Yes it is. It's terrible.

Why not? Who'd you hear this from?

ETA: What's your prediction for this fight?

Well he made over $6 million for the Hunt fight.
