Obvious that it was illegal and nullified the play w a 5 yard penalty
The bigger question to me is how do u not kick the XP there?

But it’s seems like you think the purposefully screwed ASH. I’m saying the penalty was obvious, even if they screwed up the actual call.

Because they didn’t want any part of overtime. I give kudos to them for taking advantage of Acadiana miscues and never giving up. But Acadiana was clearly the better team. That’s why they went for it. If they had any sort of confidence at all they tie it and take it to OT. West Monroe gifted them last week and they win by 16. Acadiana gifted them this week and they lose by 1. Kudos to Acadiana as well for fighting through the adversity. Even when the chips weren’t going their way they were in control and never trailed since the first quarter.

It’s also clear by the fact they signal for illegal formation, and don’t stop the play dead upon the snap

I just think they botched the signal.
In the clip on Twitter he throws his flag, watches the play, waves his arms afterwards, then you hear his whistle as he runs towards the white hat.
