Machado missed a ball down the line, ricocheted off his glove into the umpire’s hand enabling him to just barely throw out Ohtani. Shohei might have still gotten under

Ohtani takes 2nd on fly out to center field.
Ball hit down 3rd base line, bounces off Machado's glove then bounces off the umpire, Ohtani is coming by 3rd thinking the ball is going to the outfield, coach puts up the stop sign because he can see the play, Ohtani blows through it. Machado picks up the ball throws home in plenty of time but it looked like Ohtani may have gotten in under the tag. No review. On replay it seems he did get tagged just before touching the plate.
