Mr Belle is not in the HOF. You be the judge:

Trout - 13 yrs:

.301, 368 HR, 940 RBI, 206 SB

He has earned a number of accolades, including 3 AL MVP awards, 11 All-Star selections, and 9 Silver Slugger awards. Best year - 2019: 45HR, 104RBI, .297

Belle - 12 yrs:

.295, 381 HR, 1,239 RBI, 88 SB.

Belle also earned five All-Star selections and five Silver Slugger awards in the MLB. His best season came in 1995 when Belle posted a career-best 50 home runs and 126 RBIs with a .317 batting average, yet he finished second in MVP voting behind Boston Red Sox slugger Mo Vaughn.

He's not wrong, but the Indians in the 90's were a championship-caliber franchise and Trout plays for quite possibly the most ineptly run team in the league

100% Albert was one of the most feared hitters for a whole damn decade. Plus he’s an Eagle Scout. He’s definitely a HOFer.

I wonder if Belle was a juicer lol.

BTW,

Belle OPS+ 144
Trout OPS+ 173

Being a HOFEr is generally not a popularity contest.

WHEN you get in can be a popularity contest.

I wish Joey would’ve cared more about his career while he was playing than apparently he does now.

Sounds like a bitter bitch.

This is an elaborate way to say you don’t like the “new” baseball stats

All-Stars all over the field. Put Trout on the 90's Indians and Belle on the today's Angels what do you think their stats look like?

It's not really a question

A better and more comprehensive stat than the four stats you provided in your op.

He ain't wrong.

But he was such an a-hole and standoffish w/the media and that is the reason why he ain't already in Cooperstown.

Baseball writers are the biggest bunch of pencil-necked, sanctimonious pricks in sports media.
