thats a definite power move. Now move me out of the 9 hole, coach

Also, great to see his parents could make it to the game. They looked thrilled

Very sweet. First pitch.

I seem to recall that Will Clark homered off of Nolan Ryan in his (Clark's) first MLB at-bat. I don't think it was first pitch, though.

He definitely flicked the wrist to flip it at the end.

It wasn’t much. How else do you release a bat in a faster jog than normal for HR? Underhand it gracefully as you tell the pitcher your sorry for you “power privilege” didn’t look bad to me

That’s one of the greatest nicknames ever. Chris Berman would be proud

Great to see the kid hit first pitch he saw in the the bigs into the seats, but that wasn't really a bat flip.

Sad thing about the current state of baseball is that he'll probably get plunked for it at some point. Can't have guys like him and Tatis having fun in this very serious sport.

Wow I’ve never heard Will Clark sound so New Orleans-y.

He didn’t do a ton of media but did he sound this same way later in his career?

I'm disappointed that they greeted him with smiles and high fives that's not baseball

they should have ignored him as tradition dictates

And a triple and rbi today. Raking at a .455 clip.

Has he replaced La Tortuga of the Twins as the MSB’s favorite player?

For reference, La Tortuga
